Days Until Calculator
Countdown to any future date
Enter a date and you get the day count as the headline figure, then the same interval broken into weeks and remaining days, an approximate month count, and the total in hours and minutes. A label field lets you name the event so the heading reads as a sentence rather than a number. Four preset buttons cover the recurring dates people actually count down to — New Year, Valentine's Day, Halloween and Christmas — each of which rolls forward to next year when the current one has already passed, so the buttons work in December as well as in July. Switch to Days since mode and the same input counts backwards, which is how you find how long it has been since a launch or a last contact. The figures are calendar-day counts taken at midnight, so '1 day until' genuinely means tomorrow.
Find exactly how many days, weeks, hours and minutes remain until any future date — birthdays, launches, holidays or deadlines — with a live countdown.

How to use Days Until Calculator
Choose Days until or Days since to set the direction of the count.
Pick the date in the date field, or use one of the four preset buttons.
Type an event name in the label field so the result reads as a sentence.
Read the day count, then the weeks, approximate months, hours and minutes breakdowns.
- Days-until and days-since share the same input, so switching direction changes only the wording and the arithmetic.
- Four recurring-date presets roll forward to the following year automatically once the current occurrence has passed.
- The count is made between calendar dates at local midnight, so it matches how a person counts days rather than accumulating 24-hour periods.
- A next-occurrence line names the weekday that date falls on in the following year and the days from today to it.
- A parent counts down to a child's birthday and checks which weekday it falls on this year.
- A product manager tracks the days remaining to a launch milestone and labels it for the team.
- A researcher counts how long it has been since an event to report an anniversary interval.
