Random Date Generator
Random dates in any range and format
Two text fields set the window — From and To, both in YYYY-MM-DD, defaulting to 1925-01-01 and 2025-12-31, which covers a century of birthdays. Enter them in either order and they are sorted for you. Each date is picked as an offset into the window and rendered in the format you select: ISO 2024-06-15, Long as June 15, 2024, US slash 06/15/2024, or EU slash 15/06/2024. Count runs from 1 to 200 and dates can repeat, since nothing de-duplicates — 200 samples from a year-long window will collide often. The underlying fill uses Math.random, which is fine for fixture data but is not a source you would use for anything that has to be unguessable.
Pick random dates between two bounds with your preferred output format. Great for generating sample datasets, testing calendar features and planning random event scenarios.

How to use Random Date Generator
Type two bounds into From (YYYY-MM-DD) and To (YYYY-MM-DD); either may come first.
Choose a Format: ISO, Long, US slash or EU slash.
Choose a batch size anywhere from 1 to 200.
Roll the window and copy the dates, one per line.
- Any window you can type, defaulting to 1925-01-01 through 2025-12-31.
- Four output formats covering ISO 8601, long-form English, US slash order and EU slash order.
- Bounds entered backwards are reordered automatically rather than erroring.
- Batch sizes from 1 to 200 dates per run.
- A developer seeding a subscriptions table needs two hundred due dates scattered across a decade and pastes them into a fixture.
- A QA engineer testing date-input parsing pastes the mixed EU and US formats into a form to confirm each is rejected or accepted as expected.
- A statistics teacher generates 100 dates inside one quarter to show that a uniform draw clusters unevenly in the calendar.
