What is Text Repeater?

A repetition tool has one real design decision, which is the size limit. Repeating a short string a thousand times is trivial; repeating a long paragraph a thousand times allocates a hundred megabyte string and locks up the tab, so the output is capped at one million characters and the tool says so plainly when a combination would exceed it. The count is set with a slider running from 2 to 1000, and a checkbox decides whether the copies are joined by a single space or by line breaks — the difference between a line of filler and a list you can paste into a spreadsheet. The operation sits in a wider panel of list tools, so you can repeat a block and then sort, shuffle or deduplicate the result in the same place. Nothing is sent anywhere; the work is a string multiplication in your browser.

Repeat a word, emoji or sentence as many times as you need with optional line breaks and separators. Popular for filler content, spam tests, chat jokes and stress-testing inputs.

Step-by-Step

How to use Text Repeater

1

Type or paste the text to multiply into the Input box.

2

Drag the Repeat count slider to between 2 and 1000 — the label above it shows the current number.

3

Tick Separate with new lines if you want one copy per line instead of a single spaced run.

4

Copy the Result panel; if the output would exceed a million characters, the tool returns a warning instead.

Key Capabilities
  • Count adjustable from 2 to 1000 with a live label
  • Space or newline separator chosen by a checkbox
  • One million character ceiling that returns a clear warning rather than freezing
  • Shares a panel with sorting, shuffling and line removal for follow-up edits
Common Use Cases
  • A QA engineer generating a long row of repeated values to test a form's input limit.
  • A presenter padding a slide with placeholder text to check how a layout behaves under load.
  • A developer creating sample data with a fixed pattern for a load test script.

Frequently Asked Questions

Why is the output limited?
Because a browser tab can only hold so much text, and attempting a very large one produces an invalid string length error or an unresponsive page. The tool estimates the joined length before building anything and returns a warning if it would pass a million characters. Shorten the input or lower the count rather than trying to force it.
Can I get one copy per line?
Yes, tick the separate-with-new-lines checkbox. Left unticked, copies are joined by a single space and the result is one long line. The choice matters when you are pasting into a spreadsheet or a text editor where each row has to be separate.
Is the count exact?
Yes, within the supported range, and the slider is bounded at both ends so you cannot ask for a fraction or a negative. The state also clamps defensively if a value arrives from outside, so the output never ends up empty or repeated a million times by accident.
What else can I do to the repeated text?
The operation dropdown in the same panel switches to sorting, shuffling, deduplication, line removal and the reversal modes, and your repeated block is still in the input box. That makes it easy to generate a long list and then reduce it to unique lines before using it.
